White elephant, bridge between professors and youth

The white elephant session of 30th ACRS was held in the afternoon at the Beijing conference center, October 19, 2009.
White elephant session is an important activity in ACRS for the communication between professors and students. Professors gave speeches about how to write thesis and proposal, how to make presentation and so on, these are considered as the essential express abilities for young scientists. They introduced the basic rules and techniques of expressing oneself, and told students some tips of Do's and Dont's. Professors tried their best to persuade students to pay attention to these communicate skills because they placed great expectation on the young generation, we can see that in their kindly eyes.
After this white elephant session, professors together reviewed the evolution of student activities and the ACRS contributions on student promotion, then they discussed how to promote students and young scientists in Asia.
